Terms and conditions:
- Participants will be judged on technique, creativity, control, connection and unity of the team, risk, generosity and musicality.
- Participants may choose to take part as solo dancers or in groups of maximum 4 dancers. Teams can be made up of dancers with different or similar styles and disciplines
Participants age:
9 – 30 years old from any nationality and style are welcome.
Process and stages of the Challenge
1) Partcipants post 1-2 minutes video before June 4th tagging @laoisdanceplatform and using #ldpIreland21 Audience will vote using ‘Like’ and comment tools to support judges decision to narrow down to 12.2) Preliminary round 1: Top 12 will be announced on June 11th and further details about the battle will be sent to this group by email. *Further details to be emailed to top 12: Concept, final conditions and rules.
3) June 18th, Preliminary round 2 Top 6 will be announced and have their dances broadcasted. The public will support final decisions with like and comments. Further details about the battle will be sent by email to this group.
4) June 19th: Top 3 is announced. Their dances will be broadcasted.
5) June 20th , FINAL: 1st, 2nd and 3rd places announced. 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, will go live online to talk about the processes used for the challenge and have a short performance.
